People spend hundreds of thousands of dollars buying new cloths and make-up items to keep up with the latest and fashionable styles. All that money could have been saved for purpose like college education, everyday payments and so on. But we are likely to neglect those thoughts in order to keep the perfect appearance. This makes one of the disastrous effects which style and fashion have on society.

Hong Kong Culture Center is now in its 20th year! To celebrate the Center’s birthday on 8 November, a number of outstanding local art groups are giving various wonderful programs at the Piazza (露天广场). Come and join us to celebrate! The organizer reserves the right to substitute artists and change the programs without prior notice if unavoidable circumstance make it necessary.
